Sat., May 7 - Free Drive Thru Mobile Food Distribution at the Clare County Fairgrounds, 418 Fairlane St., Harrison, MI 48625: The distribution will be from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Food will be placed in your trunk/hatchback, so please make room in advance and also bring empty boxes or baskets for the food. Restrooms will not be available. If you do not have access to a vehicle or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and arrange for someone to pick up food for you. Pdf and jpg versions of the flyer in English and Spanish are attached. The May 2022 distribution is sponsored by Chartwells-Harrison Food Service and the Greater Lansing Food Bank/Feeding America and is coordinated by the all volunteer Community Nutrition Network.
Volunteers Needed for Free Drive Thru Mobile Food Distribution on Saturday, May 7th at the Clare County Fairgrounds in Harrison! - The Community Nutrition Network needs volunteers with the ability to lift and carry 15-40 pounds multiple times to load food into vehicles. Volunteers are needed from 9:00 a.m. until early afternoon. Due to safety and health requirements, volunteers need to be preregistered (including reviewing and agreeing to follow safety and health guidelines) and scheduled in advance of the event.
